NAIDOC Week 2023 | Indigenous Art Workshop
We had an incredible time at our NAIDOC Week painting workshop with Wanita, an amazing indigenous artist from Boomali.
The intimate workshop was filled with creativity as our customers embarked on a journey to create their own painting based on this year’s NAIDOC theme, ‘For our Elders’.
All attendees also enjoyed a delightful morning tea with hints of native ingredients and native tea. It was a perfect blend of art, community, and culinary exploration!
The smiles on our customers' faces said it all - they were thrilled with their own unique artistic representations and walked away gaining more knowledge of First Nations culture.
